O artigo pretende tratar o pós-Boom à luz de uma materialidade ficcional que apresenta como substrato fatos históricos, abordados sob a ótica da escrita feminina, em um tom testemunhal, perpassando o entendimento do que foi o Boom. Visa, também, a propor reflexões acerca da recorrência do romance histórico e testemunhal, como característica desse fenômeno literário (pós-Boom) na contemporaneidade. Contudo, vale salientar que não é de interesse ou foco do nosso trabalho expor a questão da narratividade do pós-Boom em um tom sexista, trata-se tão somente da constatação de a voz e as escritas femininas estarem muito presentes nesse contexto literário. Verificamos que ainda a carência de estudos e leituras que elucidem de forma mais substancial esse fenômeno. Tomamos como leituras bases para realização de nossa fala Eagleton (2011), Galvez (1987), Garretas (1995), Lukács (2011), Prieto (1998), Menton (1993) e Shaw (2003).

This paper examines the post-Boom in light of fictional materiality that uses historical facts as its basis. These facts are dealt with from the perspective of women's testimonial writing and provide understanding of what the Boom was. This study also argues the case that the recurring publication of historical and of testimonial novels is a characteristic of this contemporary literary phenomenon (post-Boom). However, it should be noted that this work does not aim to (appear to) be sexist in its discussion of post Boom narrative. It aims exclusively to draw attention to the constant presence of women’s voice and writing in this literary context. This article also points to the lack of further studies which elucidate this phenomenon more substantially, and the reading its presents is backed up by Eagleton (2011), Galvez (1987), Garretas (1995), Lukács (2011), Prieto (1998), Menton (1993) and Shaw (2003).
