Poéticas del hastío en Clarice Lispector

Resumo


Clarice Lispector será la máxima representante de la innovación del lenguaje y de la búsqueda interior, ubicada en el siglo XX, denominada «narrativa intimista». Cultivada en el espíritu de las corrientes que predicaban la libertad del hombre y el rechazo a lo establecido, Clarice Lispector se vincula creativamente al existencialismo de Jean-Paul Sartre. El objetivo del presente artículo es comprobar justamente que en la escritura de Clarice Lispector se encarna el sujeto moderno por excelencia. Ella vive la modernidad como un proceso nauseante. He querido llamar a este trance náusea literaria, en la medida en que pese a tener un origen anímico, social, psíquico o filosófico, su solución es sin duda alguna artística. Su desenlace es la propia escritura.

 

Clarice Lispector is the utmost representative of the Twentieth-Century type of “intimate narrative” marked by linguistic innovation and deep inner quest. Cultivated in the spirit of the movements that sought human freedom and eschewed normativity, Lispector’s literary writings bear links with Jean-Paul Sartre’s existentialism. This paper aims to show that Lispector’s writings embody the modern subject par excellence. She experiences modernity as a nauseating process. I call this process literary nausea because it is undoubtedly worked out in art, culminating in writing itself, despite its emotional, social, psychological and philosophical roots. The final aim of this paper is to examine the links between the concept of nausea developed by Sartre and Maurice Merleau-Ponty and the contemporary nausea reinvented by Lispector.
