Neste artigo, analisam-se a enunciação e as possibilidades do dizer, assim com certo efeito de inatualidade ligado à obra literária de Caio Fernando Abreu. Esses elementos nos permitem rastrear e resgatar a potência de sentidos (embate, enfrentamento, tensão) de sua obra em relação com o tempo, para uma releitura neste início de século XXI.

In this article, I analyze the enunciation and the possibilities of the saying, as well as a sort of currentless associated to Caio Fernando Abreu’s oeuvre. These elements allow us to track and rescue a power of the meanings (shock, confrontation, tension) of his work in relation to time, for a rereading of his literature in the early 21th Century.
