RESUMO: Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre as transformações possíveis da noção de identidade nacional, definida a partir de seu caráter coletivo, homogeneizante e hierarquizante (ANDERSON, 2008; FIORIN, 2009), por meio da heterogeneidade representada na ficção brasileira contemporânea. A representação de subjetividades estabelecidas pelos corpos não normatizados ou intitulados queers (BUTLER, 2017) implica em uma subversão aos padrões convencionados na produção literária (POLESSO, 2018; DALCASTAGNÈ, 2002) e compreende, portanto, um campo de possibilidades sensíveis ao estabelecimento de dispositivos de afirmação própria e aberta à diferença (FOUCAULT, 2019; DERRIDA, 2009). Entende-se que uma literatura da diferença representa uma redefinição possível de discursos de identidade nacional, abertos a individualidades marginalizadas. Esses aspectos são investigados nos romances Todos nós adorávamos caubóis (2013), de Carol Bensimon, e Enquanto os dentes (2017), de Carlos Alberto Pereira.

ABSTRACT: Through the heterogeneity represented in the contemporary Brazilian fiction, this paper examines some possible transformations of the notion of national identity defined by its collective, homogenizing, and hierarchical character (ANDERSON, 2008; FIORIN, 2009). The representation of subjectivities established by non-standardized bodies or self-titled queers (BUTLER, 2017) subverts conservative standards in literary production (POLESSO, 2018; DALCASTAGNÈ, 2002) as they offer a field of sensitive possibilities in the establishment of self-affirmative devices opened to the notion of difference (FOUCAULT, 2016, 2019; DERRIDA, 1995). The literature of the difference thus represents the possible redefinition of national identity discourses, opened to marginalized individuals. These aspects are tracked down in the novels Todos nós adorávamos caubóis (2013), by Carol Bensimon, and Enquanto os dentes (2017), by Carlos Alberto Pereira.
