Resumo
RESUMO: Eloy Pontes, tendo já publicado biografias de autores brasileiros do cânone, escreveu um livro sobre o autor da Comédia Humana, em que buscou relacionar a vida e a obra do romancista francês, com vistas a que esta servisse de exemplo aos autores nacionais. Neste ensaio, procuramos examinar as perspectivas críticas e as propostas de Eloy Pontes.
ABSTRACT: Eloy Pontes, having already published biographies of Brazilian authors of the canon, wrote a book about the author of the Human Comedy, in which he sought to relate the life and the work of the French novelist, so that the latter would serve as an example to national authors. In this essay, we seek to examine Eloy Pontes’ critical perspectives and proposals.
