No presente texto, analisamos três imagens femininas presentes na obra de Clarice Lispector a partir da sua relação com a beleza e a feiúra. Para tanto, escolhemos a personagem Lóri, protagonista do romance Uma aprendizagem ou O livro dos prazeres, e, também, as personagens Macabéa e Glória, pertencentes ao romance A hora da estrela. Cada uma dessas personagens são importantes chaves de leitura na compreensão do que é ser mulher a partir do olhar feminino, bem como da perspectiva masculina/patriarcal, uma vez que, como podemos depreender da leituras dos romances, a mulher é constituída a partir de uma visão masculina que a olha e devolve uma imagem baseada nos atributos físicos, sem, no entanto, conseguir atingir o cerne da identidade feminina.

In this paper, we analyze three female images present in the work of Clarice Lispector, considering their relationship with beauty and ugliness. To do so, we choose the characters Lori, protagonist of the novel An Apprenticeship: or, the Book of Delights, and also Macabéa and Glória, both characters from the novel The Hour of the Star. Each of these characters are important reading keys in the understanding of what it is to be a woman from the feminine as well as the masculine/ patriarchal perspectives, since, as we may realize from the readings of the novels, the woman is characterized from a male view that looks at her and in return gives an image based on physical attributes, without, however, being able to reach the heart of the feminine identity.
