RESUMEN: Según Erdal Jordan, el proceso de vacilación que condiciona la aparición de lo fantástico pasa en el posmodernismo cada vez más por unos experimentos con la enunciación narrativa. A este respecto, la colección de cuentos Control Terrestre (2013) del autor peruano José Güich Rodríguez (Lima, 1963) combina unos procedimientos temáticos tradicionales descritos por Honores, tales como la presencia de máquinas futurísticas, el uso de símbolos y alegorías y la escenificación de la figura del doble, con otros que aprovechan la estructura misma del texto. Concretamente, analizaremos cómo en tres de estos cuentos el juego con el texto implicado en la ‘metaficción’ y unas referencias intertextuales explícitas e implícitas originan un mismo efecto de hesitación y estimulan la aparición de lo fantástico en el nivel del lenguaje.

ABSTRACT: According to Erdal Jordan, the hesitation process, which is the funding principle of fantastic literature, is increasingly linked to experiments with narrative enunciation in postmodernism. Concerning this, the short stories included in Control Terrestre (2013), written by the Peruvian author José Güich Rodríguez (Lima, 1963), combine some traditional fantastic issues defined by Honores, such as the presence of futuristic machines, the use of symbols and allegories and experiments with double characters and narrators, with some techniques that focus on the structural aspects of the text. More specifically, we will analyze in three of these short stories how the play with the text included in ‘metafiction’ and explicit and implicit intertextual references create a similar hesitation and design the ‘fantastic’ effect at the level of language.
