RESUMO: O presente artigo pretende abordar o problema da impossibilidade da narração. Esta questão pode ser notada em dois autores, a saber, Clarice Lispector e Primo Levi, todavia, essa impossibilidade de narrar é percebida de modos distintos e particulares nos dois autores. Clarice propõe-se a captar o instante-já e fixá-lo, mas percebe que é impossível captá-lo sem traí-lo. Por outro lado, Levi tenta reconstituir, por meio da linguagem, um evento traumático e tem a consciência de que é impossível recontar todos os fatos em sua totalidade. O resultado desse contar impossível é a fragmentação, marca da escrita de ambos os autores, e este é o inferno de suas obras.

ABSTRACT: This article aims at working with the problem of the narrative impossibility. This matter can be noticed in two authors, namely, Clarice Lispector and Primo Levi. However, this impossibility to narrate is noticed in different and particular ways in these authors. Clarice wants to capture the moment and fix it, but she notices that it is not possible to capture this moment without betraying it. On the other hand, Levi tries to reconstitute, through language, a traumatic event and is aware of the impossibility to recount all the facts completely. The result of this impossible recount is the fragmentation, which marks the writing of both authors, and this is considered the hell of their works.
