RESUMO: Maria Teresa Horta é uma escritora portuguesa cujas temáticas representam um posicionamento ético regular em defesa do sujeito mulher na sociedade desde a publicação de sua primeira obra, em 1960. A sua poesia resvala em motes como o corpo-desejo, corpo erotizado e o corpo-sexo. Na prosa, em Meninas (2014), o corpo se vincula a outras proposições que transitam por espaços de luta, poder, violência e de domínio. Isso se dá porque a sexualidade das meninas dos contos “Estrela” e “Inocência perdida” é vigiada pelo Estado, pais, madrastas e sogras. A partir desses elementos vinculantes, a investigação pautar-se-á em Michel Foucault (1977; 1979; 1987) e Heleieth Saffioti (2015), visando discutir como funcionam os processos de opressão sobre os sujeitos envolvidos nas narrativas citadas.

ABSTRACT: Maria Teresa Horta is a Portuguese writer whose themes represent a regular ethical stand in the defense of the female subject in society since the publication of her first work in 1960. Her poetry touches on themes such as the desire-body, the eroticized body and the sex-body. In prose, in Meninas (2014), the body is linked to other propositions that transit through spaces of struggle, power, violence and domination. This is because the female sexuality in the short stories “Estrela” and “Inocência perdida” is monitored by the State, parents, stepmothers and motherin-laws. Considering this, our reading will be guided by Michel Foucault (1977; 1979; 1987) and Heleieth Saffioti (2015) to discuss how these oppression processes work on the subjects in these narratives.
